Product Support Engineer

Overview

Product Support Engineer role in the Technical Fulfillment team, focused on configuring, operating, and monitoring a high-volume batch data delivery platform on Google Cloud.

What you'll do

• Configure and execute data processing workflows according to procedures and client specifications.
• Deploy and manage batch data pipelines orchestrated via Apache Airflow.
• Monitor data processing job runs and address issues to ensure timely, accurate delivery.
• Run data quality checks and validation for processed data integrity and accuracy.
• Diagnose and resolve configuration, scheduling, and dependency issues on the GCP platform.
• Follow security protocols and SDLC guidelines for configuration deployments and changes.
• Support client inquiries and resolve fulfillment-related issues.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, proactive problem-solving approach.
• Familiarity with data processing concepts and batch delivery systems.
• Experience working with configuration files (e.g., YAML).
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts, ideally with some exposure to GCP.
• Basic scripting skills (e.g., shell scripting) are an asset.
• Familiarity with API tools for testing and understanding data interfaces.
