Programmer Analyst II

Overview

Principal Programmer Analyst role supporting statistical and bioinformatics programming for clinical trials, from design through analysis and reporting.

What you'll do

• Serve as lead programmer or project lead on studies or drug programs of varying complexity.
• Work with project team leaders and client representatives to develop and maintain project timelines and resources forecasts.
• Ensure adherence to study budgets and relevant client contractual obligations.
• Develop and contribute improvements to tools and techniques to increase process efficiencies.
• Represent the department in submissions/reviews of clinical data to regulatory authorities.
• Provide training, guidance, and project leadership to junior team members.

What you'll need

• MS/MA in computer science, statistics, biostatistics, mathematics or related field with at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 8 years.
• Strong SAS programming skills.
• Knowledge of database structures and working with complex data structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including English language proficiency.
• Good understanding of clinical trials, ICH statistical/reporting guidelines, and GCP.
• Excellent project management skills, including project budget creation and managing budgets/risks.

• Work mode: Remote.
• Location: China.
• Work environment: office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.
• Travel: occasional domestic and international, plus occasional drives to site locations.
