Overview
Project Controller-Architecture and Engineering to support architecture and engineering practice and help ensure client projects meet financial, schedule, and performance targets.
What you'll do
- Review performance trends, prepare cost impact and monthly project performance reports, and recommend contractor invoices for approval.
- Track actual and committed costs for subs/vendors against budgets and update forecasts using earned value and project team inputs.
- Prepare regular cost reports and establish project budgets from proposal estimates.
- Coordinate with project personnel to develop Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and communicate budget/cost/schedule analysis results.
- Monitor KPIs including earned value, cost and schedule performance, estimate to completion, and project end dates.
- Monitor unbilled/invoicing/aged AR and maintain data quality metrics; review client invoices for accuracy and schedule.
- Assist PMs with procurement items (purchase orders and subcontract agreements) and support federal contract requirements as needed.
What you'll need
- BA/BS and 4 years of related experience in project controls (or demonstrated equivalency).
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work with teams are required.
- Ability to lead the project controls function on small and large projects for a portfolio and multiple project managers.
- US citizenship is required.
