Overview
Project Engineering Manager responsible for executing engineering scopes for complex HVDC EPC projects from GE Vernova’s Noida office.
What you’ll do
- Execute engineering works for complex HVDC projects while aligning with safety, schedule, cost, and quality requirements.
- Manage and deliver the sub-discipline HVDC solution line (SL) scope under senior PEM supervision.
- Ensure coherency between HVDC engineering activities and other disciplines (procurement, construction, commissioning).
- Plan and manage technical interfaces and maintain exchange interface sheets with partners, customers, and third parties.
- Lead risk review meetings with senior PEM and update the risk register with mitigation plans as required.
- Support customer technical meetings when needed and enforce change process and policy for deviations.
What you’ll need
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as Project Engineering Manager or similar in an EPC environment.
- Engineering degree level or equivalent education in Electrical Engineering/Power Systems/Electronics/Automation.
- Managed engineering budget of $5M.
- Strong understanding of engineering project lifecycle, technical interfaces, and coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to influence and drive decision-making, teamwork, and strategic planning.
