Project Technical Engineering Senior Professional

Overview

Senior engineering professional to lead technical authority for substations engineering projects and tenders with low to high complexity.

What you'll do

• Lead the technical solution for assigned projects/tenders in coordination with engineering departments.
• Coordinate with project/tendering teams, project managers, SCM, and related engineering and customer stakeholders.
• Evaluate engineering risks and opportunities and strategize mitigation across disciplines.
• Present technical aspects of project/tender assignments in meetings and interact with customers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure engineering activities comply with safety regulations and contractual requirements.
• Estimate overall engineering costs for disciplines and obtain approval from the Business Unit Head.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in B.Tech or B.E or M.Tech.
• 8–12 years of experience in an engineering discipline.
• Experience with medium to high voltage projects in power system substations domain.
• Knowledge of power system equipment and their purposes (e.g., transformers, capacitors, reactors, instrument transformers, circuit breakers, disconnectors, surge arrestors).
• Knowledge of international standards (IEEE/IEC/GIGRE).
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
