Public Safety Solutions Engineer

Overview

Public Safety Solutions Engineer supports winning new business in the Public Safety sector in North America by serving as a product expert and helping deliver solution demonstrations, RFP responses, and scope documents.

What you'll do

• Support sales opportunities related to Public Safety solutions.
• Demonstrate solution capabilities as a product expert.
• Apply knowledge of criminal justice process workflow for digital evidence.
• Conduct needs assessment and analysis aligned with Account Executives.
• Collect solution requirement and interface feedback for Product Management.
• Assist in technical responses to RFPs and create presentations.
• Build SOWs and develop presentations for end users, partners, and consultants.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience selling and/or sales engineering into Government verticals and/or Public Safety/Security.
• BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or a related field.
• Experience working with government purchasing personnel for RFP/bid responses and state and/or federal contracts.
• Proven consultative selling style with demonstration and presentation preparation experience.
• Strong technical knowledge and excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proven creative problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interview and engage user work groups within Public Safety agencies.

Details

• Travel requirement will be ~50% per month within the assigned territory.
• Works with Account Executives, Product Management, Business Development, Project Management, Legal, Marketing, Professional Services, and Customer Support.
• Primary objective is to support winning new business in the Public Safety sector in North America.
