QA Automation Engineer

Overview

Intermediate QA Automation Engineer role focused on owning test coverage within a cross-functional squad in a remote-first setup.

What you'll do

• Develop automated tests for new features and regression scenarios.
• Conduct functional, integration, and regression testing against requirements, using manual testing as needed.
• Triage and report defects from discovery through resolution.
• Monitor and reduce end-user found vs QA found defect ratios.
• Keep QA impact on the release schedule to a minimum.
• Use AI tools to accelerate test generation and validate generated tests.
• Contribute to requirements review with QA perspective.

What you'll need

• Minimum of 3 years in Quality Assurance or Software Development roles.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or a comparable test automation framework.
• Good coding skills for efficient test automation.
• Experience with API testing and automation.
• Familiarity with issue tracking tools (preferably Jira) and version control (preferably Git).
• Ability to communicate effectively in a remote environment via clear written/asynchronous collaboration.
