Record to Report Ops Associate

Overview

Discipline: Record to Report. Role handles end-to-end journal processing, reconciliations, and month/quarter/year-end close and consolidation support.

What you'll do

• Prepare, validate, and post recurring, adjustment, and correction journal entries with approvals and supporting documents.
• Manage open items daily/weekly by clearing transaction accounts and investigating unmatched or incorrectly posted items.
• Reconcile and clear GR/IR accounts, analyze ageing, and process approved corrections or forced clearings.
• Analyze trial balance and general ledger to identify unusual or unbalanced transactions and prepare corrective entries.
• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities including FX revaluation and period-control steps.
• Support financial consolidation and group reporting with accurate balances, variance explanations, and audit evidence.
• Respond to client queries and tickets within SLA/TAT and escalate risks promptly.

What you'll need

• 1 to 3 years of experience.
• Any graduation.
• Accounting knowledge for Record-to-Report, general ledger, reconciliation, or month-end closing.
• Strong attention to detail to deliver accurate results in a high-volume, SLA-driven environment.
• Experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA Finance is preferred.
• Exposure to reconciliation/close tools (e.g., ReconSmart, Cadency, BlackLine) is advantageous.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage high transaction volumes.
