Payroll Specialist

Overview

Regional Payroll Specialist (EMEA) supporting European payroll operations across assigned countries.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and process payroll activities for assigned countries.
• Act as first point of interaction with payroll partners and ensure accuracy/timeliness of payroll entries and reports.
• Oversee payroll transactions including adjustment pay and termination pay.
• Provide timely payroll data to Accounting and support reconciliation activities.
• Partner with HR to resolve payroll enquiries and manage garnishments, tax levies, and deductions.
• Support non-standard payroll needs such as off-cycle payments and urgent corrections.
• Contribute to vendor consolidation and harmonisation efforts and improve payroll dashboards and procedures.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of multi-country payroll experience.
• Practical payroll processing experience in Belgium and the Nordic countries.
• Exposure to Germany, Poland, and Hungary is considered an advantage.
• Strong customer-facing skills to handle queries professionally.
• Ability to support process improvement or system enhancement projects.
• Proficiency with HRIS, payroll systems, and reporting tools.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail to meet deadlines.
