Relationship Manager - Credit Delivery, AVP

Overview

Relationship Manager in the Credit Delivery team at Associate Vice President level, managing client relationships, business development and credit support in a fast-paced financial services environment.

What you'll do

• Manage your diary, build and develop a portfolio of clients, and deliver excellent service.
• Produce high quality new business proposals and support credit analysis, building a strong relationship with the credit function.
• Conduct sales and service needs interviews through customer service reviews to ensure clients receive a first-class service.
• Design and originate new business proposals appropriate to the needs of clients.
• Understand how products and services compare with competitors and use this knowledge to maximise opportunities when undertaking personal reviews.
• Set detailed targets, monitor performance and develop tactical solutions to address challenges and exploit commercial market opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and lead commercial negotiations and agreements of contractual terms with new intermediaries.

What you'll need

• Knowledge of credit delivery and good experience of working in the financial services industry.
• Excellent appreciation of legal forms of lending and security.
• Broad understanding of corporate finance and capital models.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to operate and influence effectively at a senior level.
• A QFA qualification with strong credit analysis skills.
• Excellent relationship management skills and experience of working in a customer driven business environment.
• A track record of successfully leading and developing a high-performing sales team.
• Experience of relevant legal, regulatory and statutory obligations and risk management within a financial services environment.
• Excellent knowledge of business processes, including know your customer, anti-money laundering, deal structuring and preparing credit appraisals.
