Sales Engineer (BFSI)

Overview

Sales Engineer (BFSI) focused on winning cybersecurity sales opportunities by partnering with partner sales and technical/presales teams.

What you'll do

• Work with the partner sales team to identify prospects, progress opportunities, and help win deals by demonstrating value.
• Present the company value proposition at key forums, including partner-led customer events and workshops.
• Handhold and jointly conduct POCs and assessments with partner technical/presales communities for prospect customers.
• Lead value-driven conversations to identify business problems and propose solutions.
• Respond with partners to RFIs and RFPs and manage Proof-of-Concepts through the sales cycle.
• Deliver solution design, winning proposals, and high-impact customer engagements; showcase solutions during cybersecurity events.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of proven experience in technology organizations.
• Over 6 years of direct system engineering and pre-sales experience.
• Strong customer centricity toward delivering the best customer experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent understanding of networking technologies and security solution design for applications.
• Ability to create an end-to-end security solution for a customer environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Nice to have

• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, or CCSE are highly preferred.
• An engineering degree in Computer, Electronics, or similar disciplines is required/expected.
