Sales Engineer

Overview

Sales Engineer responsible for driving new customer opportunities and helping integrate Cohesity products into customers’ existing environments. The role supports technical sales activities including demos, proposals, and proof-of-concepts.

What you'll do

• Uncover and drive new customer opportunities with sales and technical assistance.
• Help customers integrate Cohesity products into existing production environments.
• Develop and deliver product demonstrations, workshops, white papers, and proposals.
• Identify customer needs and support proof-of-concepts that show technology and value.
• Collaborate with product management as a field representative on product improvements.
• Provide project management and post-sales technical support when needed.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience working with clients and technology partners.
• Experience selling and implementing enterprise hardware/software, cloud platforms, IaaS/PaaS, or virtual infrastructure software.
• Ability to work with multiple decision-makers to drive proposals.
• Comfort presenting technical and business content to small and large groups.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Comfort working remotely and autonomously.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
