Sales Engineer, Mid Market - TOLA

Sales Engineer for Samsara, supporting mid-market customers with IoT solutions for physical operations.

What you'll do

• Demonstrate and conduct value assessments, proof of concept implementations, and related technical activities to help close deals.
• Guide installers through scenarios with best practices and build deployment plans.
• Develop scripts using Samsara’s open API that solve real-world problems and document them for other SEs.
• Become a consultant to customers to drive account entrenchment through integration, upsell, and cross-sell.
• Act as a liaison between product and sales teams by translating technical feedback and enrolling customers in beta programs.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s of Science degree from a 4-year accredited university.
• 2+ years of experience in a pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support capacity.
• Ability to influence stakeholders using technical sales acumen and knowledge of business processes and change management.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Previous experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations.
• Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
• Experience with technical consulting, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, and automation/control systems.
