SAP CI/FI-CA Solution Architect

Overview

SAP CI/FI-CA Solution Architect for the Lead-to-Cash (L2C) program, focused on end-to-end solution design within the SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI) and FI-CA landscape.

What you’ll do

• Own end-to-end solution design for SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI) and Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable (FI-CA) across the L2C landscape.
• Translate subscription and software monetization requirements into billable item classes, rating/charging logic, invoicing rules, and revenue-relevant postings.
• Design integration architecture between CI/FI-CA and upstream quoting/ordering/provisioning, and downstream FI/CO, revenue recognition, tax, payment, and dunning processes.
• Define data model and mapping for billable item transfer (BIT), invoicing document flow, contract accounts, and business partner structures.
• Lead design decisions for convergent invoicing consolidation, billing cycles, credit/rebill, adjustments, write-offs, and dispute handling.
• Produce and maintain solution architecture artifacts including functional/technical designs, interface specifications, decision logs, and non-functional requirements.
• Guide offshore development and resolve design gaps during build, test, and HyperCare.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 10+ years of SAP experience, including 5+ years focused on Convergent Invoicing and FI-CA in a solution architect or lead functional design capacity.
• Experience delivering at least two full-lifecycle SAP CI/FI-CA implementations (ideally on S/4HANA) covering design, build, test, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Hands-on experience with subscription/software/services monetization in a high-volume billing environment.
• Experience integrating SAP billing with CPQ/CRM, order management, provisioning, and revenue recognition platforms.
• SAP certification in S/4HANA Finance, BRIM, or Convergent Invoicing is an asset.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous, fast-changing environments and mentor teams.

• Work mode: Hybrid; average 2 days per week from an HPE office.
