Senior Application Engineer

Overview

Senior Application Engineer focused on power electronics, converter design, hardware validation, and gate driver design for IGBTs and MOSFETs.

What you'll do

• Size and validate power switches.
• Design gate drivers for IGBTs and MOSFETs.
• Work on AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC power converters and inverters in low/medium voltage ranges.
• Handle hardware design, prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging.
• Support converter design using PWM and SVPWM switching strategies.
• Prepare test cases and test setups using measurement tools and instruments.

What you'll need

• M.Tech qualification.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in high-current, high-voltage AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC designs.
• Experience with lab testing for power converter designs.
• Knowledge of converter design and topologies.
• Familiarity with power IGBT gate driver requirements and data sheet parameters including device spice modelling.
• Knowledge of simulation tools such as MATLAB, PLECS, and SPICE.
• Familiarity with safety, EMC, and IEC/UL standards for industry applications.
