Senior Design Engineer

Overview

Senior Design Engineer for legacy product sustainment, focusing on CAD updates, engineering change requests, and cross-functional project execution.

What you'll do

• Lead design and development of solutions for legacy products (sustainment engineering).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute projects across time zones.
• Implement drawing and model changes in CAD.
• Coordinate with internal and external manufacturers to implement proposed changes.
• Support Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and update project status in the project database.
• Apply change management systems and follow procedures for documentation.
• Provide input to implement a large project scope efficiently.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or similar domain with 4-6 years of work experience.
• Prior experience in medical devices & UDI part marking projects.
• Experience using Creo, SolidWorks, and windchill.
• Understanding of the change management process.
• Basic ability to communicate effectively across functions, locations, and cultures.
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions for project documentation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Teamcenter and UG NX.
