Senior Domain Engineering Specialist

Overview

Senior Domain Engineering Specialist focused on security-related customer outcomes across the Veeam Data Platform (VDP).

What you'll do

• Engage customers on security products, architectures, and risk topics across VDP.
• Run readiness checks and lead data modeling to validate solution design.
• Monitor attack surfaces and vulnerabilities, including DRMM scoring, and report trends.
• Validate designs to de-risk adoption and accelerate time to value.
• Lead risk, status, and opportunity discussions with CISO/CIO stakeholders.
• Support AEs on security- and AI-driven expansion motions, influencing roadmap priorities.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of engineering architecture experience for cybersecurity-related products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CISSP (or equivalent).
• Expertise in data security and governance, including DSPM/DLP.
• Demonstrated ability to engage CISO/CIO stakeholders on risk, resilience, and modernization roadmaps.
• Hands-on experience with solution design, POCs, telemetry monitoring, and maturity modeling (DRMM familiarity is a plus).
