Senior Edge Developer

Overview

Senior Edge Developer to build and maintain edge-centric connected solutions for industrial IoT, integrating edge devices with cloud services.

What you'll do

• Design and build scalable, cloud-native architectures for industrial IoT and connected solutions.
• Develop event-driven, microservices-based, distributed systems including real-time streaming ingestion and asynchronous messaging.
• Architect and implement API-first RESTful backend services and API management.
• Build end-to-end edge-to-cloud solutions integrating edge devices, gateways, and cloud services.
• Develop edge applications for data ingestion, filtering, and protocol handling.
• Implement CI/CD, observability (logging/monitoring/alerting), and reliability practices including high availability and disaster recovery.

What you'll need

• 6–10+ years of experience in cloud engineering, distributed systems, or IoT platforms.
• Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven systems, API-first design, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Azure (Azure preferred).
• Experience with messaging systems (Kafka, Event Hub, Service Bus) and REST API development.
• Strong programming skills in Python, C#, or Java.
• Strong working knowledge of networking fundamentals and cloud security concepts.
