Overview

Senior Energy Market Analyst (Solutions) in the APAC Solutions team, responsible for client engagement to drive sales and deliver technical work.

What you'll do

• Lead technical discussions and provide strategic modeling insights to clients.
• Develop and validate complex optimization models tailored to customer needs.
• Conduct research on policy impacts, market developments, and emerging technologies.
• Manage project lifecycles from scoping to delivery to ensure customer success.
• Collaborate with the product development team to enhance software capabilities.
• Engage potential and existing clients to increase sales and deliver technical work.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in energy market modeling, forecasting, or optimization.
• Extensive experience in PLEXOS or similar optimization software.
• Deep knowledge of energy markets and associated economics.
• Expertise in model setup, custom configurations, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in scripting, automation, and integrating market datasets.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of standard Microsoft programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
