Senior Engineer- Electrical (Process & Piping)

Overview

Senior Electrical Design Engineer focused on Water/Wastewater/Desalination projects in India, supporting electrical design deliverables and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

What you'll do

• Provide technical input into electrical project design deliverables for complex, multi-disciplinary projects.
• Produce increasingly complex engineering deliverables following standard methods and principles.
• Research and develop recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection.
• Lead and deliver technical outputs such as Single Line Diagrams, Cable Block Diagrams, and Load Schedules.
• Prepare electrical design calculations including equipment sizing and control philosophies/control network architecture.
• Coordinate with internal/external team members to deliver integrated design solutions and support bids.

What you'll need

• 6-10 years of experience in the wastewater/water industry.
• B.E./M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (preferred) from a recognized university.
• Design of electrical distribution systems for low-voltage and high-voltage electrical systems.
• Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment process and related works (e.g., pumping stations, desalination).
• Ability to prepare design basis, load lists, cable schedules, interconnection schedules, and bulk MTO.
• Hands-on experience with system studies software such as ETAP/SKM/Amtech.
• Experience modeling electrical systems and running load flow, short circuit, motor starting, and protection relay setting studies.
