Senior Engineer – Gas Turbine Application Engineering

Overview

Lead critical, complex customer proposals for GE gas turbine configurations and provide technical leadership across global teams.

What you'll do

• Own the technical content of gas turbine proposal packages with Commercial Operations and Design Engineering.
• Review customer/EPC RFPs to evaluate technical requirements and define gas turbine scope of supply.
• Develop technical comments, clarifications, and exceptions to customer specifications (compliance vs deviation).
• Identify special customer requirements and work with engineering and sourcing to create executable, competitive solutions.
• Define proposal strategies for gas turbine and associated equipment on large, complex projects.
• Lead technical discussions with regional application engineering, product engineering, execution engineering, and SMEs.

What you'll need

• Minimum 10 years of experience in design engineering, application engineering, or project execution in power generation.
• Significant experience working with customers on combined cycle power projects.
• BS in Engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience.
• Strong communication skills to influence internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical reviews across global teams.
• Demonstrated success driving Lean or continuous improvement initiatives.
