Senior Engineer – PDE Process Control Systems

Overview

Senior Engineer for PDE Process Control Systems focused on Defense Line (DL) process control, global alignment, and automation/AI enhancements.

What you'll do

• Define global Defense Line (DL) matrices, including turnaround time, overdue matrices, detection compliance, and SBL reactions.
• Ensure all sites adhere to globally aligned DL workflows.
• Drive global automation and AI enhancements for detection and manufacturing workflows (e.g., YIT, auto-contain, auto-disposition, SMAI-assisted detection).
• Oversee universal alignment so DL signals behave consistently across sites.
• Improve and optimize existing DL systems via automation systems and spec limits improvements.
• Review and release test programs, and make DL improvements based on lessons learned and related boards/registers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance defense line 4 capabilities.

What you'll need

• Strong understanding of semiconductor device physics.
• Experience in device modelling and simulation using TCAD tools (Silvaco, Sentaurus, etc.) plus compact modelling.
• Proficiency in circuit-level analog analysis and validation using HSPICE.
• Ability to perform rigorous analysis of electrical test data.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis for package and device failures using multiple data sources.
• Hands-on experience with data analytics, scripting, and statistical modelling (Python, MATLAB, JMP, SQL).
• PhD or M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering (or related), with semiconductors project experience preferably in packaging, test and reliability.
