Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Overview

Senior Machine Learning Engineer focused on building and operating production ML/AI systems, with emphasis on hands-on engineering, MLOps, and platform reliability.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain production-grade ML/AI components and services.
• Apply version control, testing, code review, and documentation practices.
• Debug issues spanning multiple system components.
• Own features or workstreams from design through deployment.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for ML/AI deployments.
• Deploy and orchestrate workloads using Docker, Kubernetes, and Prefect.
• Monitor and retrain models while escalating drift or degradation issues.

What you'll need

• 4–8 years of experience building and operating production ML/AI systems.
• Proficiency in Python and/or R with production-quality coding experience.
• Experience with CI/CD, containerisation, and orchestration for ML/AI systems.
• Working knowledge of AWS and Databricks/Unity Catalog or equivalent platforms.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or a related technical field.
