Senior Manager, Developer Evangelism Americas

Overview

Lead Developer Evangelism across North and Latin America, guiding regional teams and developer programs that help communities build with Twilio products.

What you'll do

• Define the Americas Developer Evangelism strategy.
• Lead Developer Evangelists across North and Latin America.
• Inspire developers and support an exceptional developer experience.
• Align regional programs and events with Marketing, Product, Sales, and other teams.
• Measure and expand Evangelism programs and collaborations.
• Communicate plans, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders.
• Develop, mentor, and nurture regional Evangelists.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Community, or related areas.
• 3–5 years of team leadership or people management experience.
• Experience leading Developer Relations, Community, or Developer Marketing initiatives.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally at company scale.
• Experience mentoring and guiding individual contributors.
• Data-driven problem-solving and process improvement skills.
• Storytelling skills to highlight developer work and inspire others.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with North American and Latin American developer communities, events, and programs.
• Professional fluency in Spanish or Portuguese.
• Experience organizing and running developer programs.
• Experience leading regional Developer Relations or Developer Evangelism functions.

Details

• Remote role based in the United States.
• Approximately 10% travel is anticipated.
