Overview
Serve as a nationally aligned technical pre-sales architect for NetApp solutions, guiding customers and internal teams on storage, data management, data protection, cyber resiliency, hybrid cloud, and AI-ready infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Assess customer requirements and develop NetApp solution recommendations.
- Conduct discovery sessions, technical workshops, architecture reviews, and demonstrations.
- Translate requirements into architectures, technical recommendations, bills of material, proposals, and documentation.
- Support opportunities from qualification through technical validation, proposal development, and close.
- Present technical concepts and business value to technical, operational, and executive audiences.
- Provide technical leadership for complex, strategic, and multi-region infrastructure opportunities.
- Deliver coaching, mentoring, reusable solution assets, and technical enablement.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years in technical pre-sales, architecture, engineering, consulting, or post-sale delivery.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise storage, data management, data protection, cyber resiliency, hybrid cloud, and related data center technologies.
- Practical knowledge of NetApp architecture, products, technologies, and ONTAP-related data services.
- Strong communication, presentation, discovery, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and mentor peers or developing architects.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% or as needed.
Nice to have
- Current NetApp technical certifications.
- Experience architecting NetApp solutions in enterprise, hybrid cloud, virtualization, container, data protection, cyber resiliency, or AI environments.
- Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation, Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Details
- Remote, United States.
- Pay range: $94,500–$132,100 annually, depending on experience and skill set.
- Annual bonus target of 25%, subject to plan terms and conditions.
