Senior Manager – PMO + Scrum Master, Data and Analytics, Advisory

Overview

Senior Manager role in the Data and Analytics Advisory practice at PwC, leading Agile delivery and PMO governance for data and analytics programs.

What you'll do

• Act as Lead Scrum Master for multiple agile teams across programs.
• Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams on Agile, Scrum, and SAFe/Scaled Agile practices.
• Facilitate key ceremonies (PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Remove impediments and manage cross-team dependencies.
• Drive agile maturity and continuous improvement across the organization.
• Establish and manage PMO frameworks, standards, and best practices.
• Oversee program and project planning, execution, and delivery tracking.
• Define governance models, escalation paths, and risk management processes.
• Ensure alignment between strategic objectives, roadmaps, and execution.
• Manage program budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Partner with senior leadership to translate business strategy into execution plans.
• Provide executive-level reporting on delivery status, risks, and KPIs.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business, technology, and delivery leaders.
• Manage external vendors and delivery partners when required.
• Define and track agile and PMO metrics (velocity, predictability, burn-down, OKRs, milestones).
• Drive data-driven decision-making using dashboards and reports.
• Ensure effective use of tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Clarity, Azure DevOps.
• Lead, mentor, and develop Scrum Masters and PMO team members.
• Drive change management and adoption of agile ways of working.
• Build a high-performance, accountability-driven delivery culture.

What you'll need

• Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and teams on Agile, Scrum, and SAFe/Scaled Agile practices.
• Facilitate key ceremonies (PI Planning, Sprint Planning, Reviews, Retrospectives).
• Years of experience required: 11-15.
• Education qualification: B.Tech / M.Tech / MBA / MCA.
• Degrees/Field of Study required: Bachelor of Engineering.
• Required skill: Azure Devops.

Nice to have

• Establish and manage PMO frameworks, standards, and best practices.
