Overview
Senior .NET Backend Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance digital solutions on the Optimizely platform.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and applications using C# and .NET.
- Develop and enhance Optimizely CMS, Commerce, and DXP solutions (content models, APIs, middleware, custom integrations).
- Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs for front-end teams, third-party platforms, and microservices.
- Collaborate with QA to develop and maintain automated testing.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to engineering peers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across backend services and platform integrations.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discovery with cross-functional teams.
What you'll need
- Strong experience designing and developing robust, scalable backend solutions using C# and .NET Core (.NET 8+).
- Hands-on experience with Optimizely CMS, Commerce, and/or DXP, including content modeling, APIs, middleware, and custom integrations.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Vertex Studios, Claude Code Assist, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of RESTful and GraphQL APIs, including integrations with front-end applications, third-party systems, and microservices.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and familiarity with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated unit, integration, and regression tests.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for complex backend and platform integrations.
Nice to have
- Experience integrating Generative AI or LLM-powered capabilities into enterprise applications (e.g., intelligent search, content generation, personalization, conversational experiences).
- Familiarity with Azure AI services, Azure OpenAI, or other cloud-based AI/ML platforms.
- Experience in integrated marketing, digital agency, marketing services, or consulting environments preferred.
