Senior New Product Manufacturing Engineer

Overview

Senior New Product Manufacturing Engineer supporting development and release of new product manufacturing deliverables under management guidance.

What you'll do

• Develop, implement, and release new product BOMs for medium complex assemblies.
• Work with senior NPMEs on new product manufacturing, test, and sourcing strategies.
• Develop and validate Operation Method Sheets (OMS) for medium complex assemblies.
• Support 3D solid model virtual analysis including Master Layout (MLO) and Digital Mock Up (DMU).
• Provide DFA/DFAe/DFTp/ITO and operational efficiency feedback during design reviews.
• Assist with change control via NSRs, ECOs, CCB, SPSs, and ESWs, and document product issues/enhancements.
• Lead the Managed Build process for assemblies/modules.

What you'll need

• Working knowledge of the NPME role.
• Technical support and training experience for manufacturing resources and piece part suppliers.
• Ability to perform tasks that may involve standing, walking, working in tight spaces, and lifting.
• Ability to work in noisy environments and distinguish between colors.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to use clean-room PPE (e.g., coveralls, hoods, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, face shields) when required.
