Senior / Principal Engineer Electrical - "High-rise & Complex Buildings" - Chennai / Noida

Overview

Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer leading electrical services design for high-rise and complex building projects. Manages design delivery, ensures QA/QC and multi-disciplinary coordination, and mentors junior engineers.

What you'll do

• Lead electrical services design and align with corporate, technical, and client standards.
• Lead electrical design for small to medium sized projects.
• Mentor junior engineers within the department.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, specialist consultants, clients, and project managers.
• Develop design philosophies and contribute from feasibility through detailed design.
• Ensure accurate, complete design documentation and multi-disciplinary coordination via QA/QC.
• Present design work in external meetings and provide technical support for RFPs and client inquiries.

What you'll need

• B.E./M.E. in Electrical Engineering.
• 10-12 years of professional experience.
• At least 5 years on UK projects.
• Experience on high-rise building projects is preferred.
• Expertise in manual and computer-aided electrical calculations and technical analysis.
• Proficiency with BIM/digitalization and tools including Trimble (Amtech), Dialux/Relux, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.
• Knowledge of standards including BS-EN, CIBSE, ASHRAE, and NFPA.
