Senior Product Designer, Platform Design

Overview

Senior Product Designer (Platform Design) on Epicor’s LUX team, leading component and pattern design and owning the Figma library and token architecture.

What you'll do

• Lead design of core LUX components including anatomy, variants, states, behavior, and accessibility.
• Own the LUX Figma libraries covering component architecture, variables, semantic tokens, and auto-layout.
• Drive the token strategy with UX Platform engineers to align design with code.
• Review built components in Storybook against spec and identify design-dev parity gaps.
• Write and maintain component documentation in zeroheight.
• Run contribution/governance for the design system by triaging requests and documenting decisions.
• Mentor designers through critique and set systems design craft expectations.

What you'll need

• 5 to 8 years of product design experience with hands-on design system work across multiple product teams.
• Storybook experience reviewing, spec'ing, and QA'ing components against built code (required).
• zeroheight experience authoring and maintaining living system documentation (required).
• Expert Figma skills in component architecture, variants, variables, tokens, and library management.
• Working command of design tokens and how token pipelines connect design to code.
• Fluency working with engineers on component APIs, states, and framework constraints.
• Judgment on governance decisions to extend/adapt/say no with rationale.
