Senior Professional Services Technical Architect - Security

Overview

Senior Professional Services Technical Architect, Security leading design and implementation of secure enterprise solutions for Professional Services clients across AMER.

What you'll do

• Design and lead secure GitLab solution implementations for client engagements, including security risk assessments and threat modeling.
• Advise customers on GitLab SaaS, Self-Managed, and Dedicated architecture choices for security and compliance requirements.
• Lead technical discovery to capture customer security, compliance, and infrastructure needs and shape implementation plans.
• Lead migrations from legacy SCM and CI/CD tooling, including application security tools, to GitLab CI/CD and GitLab security scanners.
• Coordinate security implementation work across cross-functional teams and share customer needs with GitLab Product teams.
• Mentor Professional Services and partners, and produce security-focused delivery kits, documentation, training, and enablement sessions.

What you'll need

• Experience delivering secure enterprise architectures across application security, cloud security, secure cloud infrastructure, and DevSecOps practices.
• Experience migrating source code management and CI/CD platforms with security controls.
• Hands-on configuration management and infrastructure as code tooling, including Ansible and Terraform.
• Experience integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep knowledge of GitLab security scanning capabilities including SAST, DAST, dependency scanning, secret detection, and container scanning.
• Knowledge of security frameworks and standards including ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, SOC 2, GDPR, and FedRAMP.
