Overview

Senior Sales Engineer for Zscaler’s Federal team, focused on the Army vertical, responsible for hands-on technical solution architecture for Zero Trust offerings.

What you'll do

• Oversee the technical sales process by translating enterprise requirements into Zero Trust solution architectures.
• Explain the “why” to CIOs and the “how” to network engineers.
• Lead Proof of Value (POV) engagements from start to finish.
• Produce high-quality POV assets and documentation that communicate Zscaler’s differentiated value.
• Cultivate technical champions by providing responsive technical counsel.
• Share ownership of account development strategies with the Account Executive for pipeline to technical win.

What you'll need

• 5–8+ years as a Sales Engineer.
• Experience with Federal, DoD, and Army account landscape.
• Proven track record moving large-scale customers from legacy architectures to modern cloud-native Zero Trust.
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of network security, Zero Trust architecture, and SSE/SASE.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Hands-on cloud proficiency across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Familiarity with Federal compliance frameworks such as CMMC.
• Industry certifications including CISSP, CCSP, CCNP, PCNSA, or JNCIP.
