Enterprise Core Sales Engineer - TOLA

Overview

Enterprise Core Sales Engineer (TOLA) supporting senior sellers to grow and win customers and serving as a senior resource on the SE Team with technical sales accountability.

What you'll do

• Support senior-level sellers to grow existing customers or win new customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations and run live proof-of-concept trials for prospective customers.
• Respond to functional and technical RFIs/RFPs.
• Demonstrate product value proposition remotely via webinars, or at conferences and trade shows.
• Work with Product Management and other teams to help develop the Samsara platform.
• Source and deliver product information and conduct testing of alpha products/features.
• Manage projects and build process improvements and automation for the SE Team.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales technical role, customer success, or customer/product support capacity.
• Bachelor’s of Science degree from a 4-year accredited university.
• Ability to influence stakeholders using technical sales acumen and understanding of business processes and change management.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Previous experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations.
• Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
• Experience with RESTful APIs between SaaS applications and SaaS-based integrations.

Details

• Remote position for candidates residing in the TOLA region of the United States, except San Francisco Bay Metros, New York City Metro, and Washington DC Metro.
• Travel up to 50% of the time; proximity to an international airport is preferred.
• Annual OTE range: $121,975–$184,500 USD.
