Senior Sales Engineer - Key Accounts (AMER - East)

Overview

Senior Sales Engineer for enterprise/key accounts, acting as a technical advisor and strategic partner to customers and Sales.

What you'll do

• Own the sales process with Account Executives by shaping technical strategy across opportunities.
• Lead customer discovery, translate needs into tailored solutions, and define measurable outcomes.
• Deliver product demos, technical presentations, and solution workshops for diverse stakeholder audiences.
• Own technical evaluations (POVs) end-to-end, including scoping, timelines, and success criteria.
• Develop and leverage technical champions across multi-stakeholder environments to influence deals.
• Document deal progress and customer interactions in related systems to drive operational excellence.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a technical customer-facing enterprise role.
• Skilled at influencing and adapting communication across technical, business, and executive audiences.
• Advanced background in public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, APM/tracing, security, developer experience, and observability.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to a range of audiences.
• Consultative, outcome-oriented problem-solving and customer engagement approach.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
