Technical Sales Engineer – Automotive, Electronic Materials

Overview

Technical Sales Engineer focused on automotive and electronic materials, acting as a customer-facing technical advisor to drive adoption of materials solutions.

What you'll do

• Identify and develop new automotive opportunities for Momentive's Electronic Materials portfolio.
• Support business growth by working with automotive OEMs and supply-chain stakeholders to qualify opportunities.
• Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to promote existing and newly developed materials.
• Advise customers on application challenges including thermal management and EMI shielding.
• Interface with customer engineering teams to understand design requirements and recommend solutions.
• Maintain opportunity and activity information in CRM (SFA) and update forecasting in Arkieva.
• Support industry presence by representing the company at trade shows, conferences, and technical events.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of technical sales, application engineering, business development, product management, or commercial experience in relevant specialty materials/electronics/automotive-related industries.
• Experience working with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, electronics manufacturers, or other automotive value-chain participants.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to engineering and business audiences.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Valid passport.
• Willingness and ability to work remotely and travel extensively.

• Location: US Remote (Michigan).
• Travel: domestic and international travel up to 50%.
