Senior Sales Engineer - Federal

Overview

Senior Sales Engineer supporting Federal customers, with a focus on Aerospace & Defense and Federal System Integrators. The role architects Zero Trust solutions, leads technical sales engagements, and connects customer outcomes to technical solutions.

What you'll do

• Translate enterprise requirements into Zero Trust solution architectures.
• Explain technical solutions to CIOs and network engineers.
• Lead Proof of Value engagements from initiation through completion.
• Create Proof of Value assets and documentation.
• Provide technical counsel to cultivate customer champions.
• Share account development ownership with the Account Executive.

What you'll need

• 5–8+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Systems Integrator.
• Experience with Federal, FSI, and Aerospace & Defense ecosystems.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience guiding customers through AI change management.
• Hands-on knowledge of network security, Zero Trust architecture, and SSE/SASE.
• Track record moving large-scale customers to cloud-native Zero Trust security models.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience integrating AI tools into workflows.
• Familiarity with Federal compliance frameworks such as CMMC.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CCNP, PCNSA, or JNCIP.

Details

• Remote in the United States.
• Base salary: $154,875–$210,000 USD yearly, excluding commission, bonus, and equity.
• Full-time position.
