Senior Sales Engineer - Key Accounts

Overview

Senior Sales Engineer (Key Accounts) providing technical expertise to qualify and close enterprise sales opportunities for Fortune 100 and comparable prospects.

What you'll do

• Deliver sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical evaluations (POVs).
• Lead the end-to-end technical sales agenda from pipeline generation through purchase decision.
• Technically close complex opportunities using competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
• Partner with Sales, Product/Engineering, Customer Success, Professional Services, and executives to articulate value proposition and strategy.
• Present at executive and technical forums, lead workshops, and translate technical details into business impact.
• Maintain CRM notes capturing customer input for both wins and losses.
• Engage with customers and internal teams on product feedback and the competitive landscape.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3+ years in a Sales Engineering or DevOps Engineering role.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to understand and articulate business benefits and technical advantages.
• Experience programming/scripting in one or more languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices such as CI/CD and IaC workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to close net new logo accounts through long multi-quarter or multi-year cycles.
• Ability to travel up to 45% of the time and sit up to 4 hours for client work.
