Senior Salesforce Engineer

Overview

Salesforce Engineer II role on LPL's CRM Technology team, developing, enhancing, integrating and supporting Salesforce solutions across Financial Services Cloud, Agentforce, OmniStudio and the Salesforce Platform.

What you'll do

• Design, develop and support scalable Salesforce solutions using Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Data Cloud, Agentforce, OmniStudio, Apex, LWC and Salesforce Flows.
• Build digital experiences and guided customer journeys using OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataRaptors and Integration Procedures.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce Data Cloud solutions, including customer unification, segmentation, audience activation and Customer 360 capabilities.
• Design and implement Agentforce AI Agents, Copilots, intelligent workflows and AI-driven customer engagement solutions.
• Develop secure integrations using Salesforce APIs, REST APIs, Platform Events, OAuth and JWT, and connect Salesforce with AWS and enterprise systems.
• Manage deployments, release management and CI/CD processes using Copado, Git and Salesforce DX (SFDX).
• Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver scalable solutions, perform code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance and mentor junior developers while following Agile and Salesforce best practices.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
• 5+ years of experience implementing Financial Services Cloud (FSC) solutions.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including customer data unification, identity resolution, segmentation, activation and Customer 360 implementations.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Agentforce, Salesforce AI, AI Agents, Prompt Builder, Copilot or Generative AI solutions on the Salesforce platform.
• 2+ years of experience with Copado deployment automation, CI/CD pipelines, Salesforce DX, source control and Salesforce release management.
• Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, SOQL, SOSL and Salesforce Platform architecture.
• Experience with REST APIs, Platform Events, OAuth, JWT Authentication and enterprise integration patterns.
• Understanding of Salesforce security architecture, including profiles, permission sets, sharing models, role hierarchies and governance.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to make quick decisions and resolve complex technical problems.
• Ability to manage through shift changes and effectively transition open and unresolved issues.
• Ability to adapt, learn new technologies, develop new processes and improve procedures.
• Excellent documentation skills and ability to write, read, interpret and edit complex documents and correspondence.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work peak, off-peak, weekend and holiday shifts.
