Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer for ABB’s Industrial Automation Digital organization, focused on AI Platforms & Applications.

What you’ll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI-enabled applications, backend services, APIs, and cloud-native microservices.
• Develop and integrate AI/ML capabilities, MLOps pipelines, AutoML workflows, and intelligent automation services.
• Support model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management across cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end software solutions and successful product releases.
• Implement responsive user interfaces and optimize application performance.
• Ensure software quality and drive continuous improvements using Agile and DevOps practices.

What you’ll need

• 6–10 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in enterprise-grade, cloud-native application development using Python.
• Frontend experience with Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Backend experience with REST APIs, microservices, and distributed application architectures.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML integration, MLOps practices, Azure Machine Learning, and AutoML workflows.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
