What you'll do

• Own and drive distributed systems problems end-to-end from inception through production launch.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and prioritize impactful problems and projects.
• Raise the engineering quality bar while helping keep systems reliable and operationally lean.
• Mentor and grow engineers.

What you'll need

• Have strong distributed systems fundamentals and experience solving problems at scale.
• Bias toward execution from concept through implementation and delivery to production.
• Focus on reliability, observability, performance, and ease of use.
• Be adaptable to changing priorities and take on what is most important.
• Be comfortable navigating ambiguity while maintaining a problem-solving mindset.
• Use AI tools in everyday engineering workflows and continuously learn to integrate AI.
