Senior Software Engineer (Money)

Overview

Senior Software Engineer role on Databricks’ Money team in India, owning core systems that govern usage and commercialization-related infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Own Money systems and services that govern usage of Databricks products and offerings.
• Enhance engineering and infrastructure efficiency, reliability, accuracy, and response times.
• Improve CI/CD processes, test frameworks, data quality assurance, end-to-end reconciliation, and anomaly detection.
• Collaborate with platform and product teams to develop and implement infrastructure that scales.
• Contribute to long-term vision and requirements development for Databricks products.
• Build governance functionality with infrastructure and product teams for Databricks customers.

What you'll need

• BS (or higher) in Computer Science or a related field.
• 7+ years of production-level experience with Java, Scala, C++, or similar languages.
• Experience architecting, developing, deploying, and operating components of large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with software security and systems handling sensitive data.
• Demonstrated ability to lead engineering projects across functional and organizational boundaries.
• Comfort working toward a multi-quarter vision with incremental deliverables.
• Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
