Senior Solution Engineer - Tax

Overview

Senior Solutions Engineer - Tax for an EMEA pre-sales team, supporting the tax business unit through demos, pre-sales support, partner enablement, and solution/POC delivery.

What you'll do

• Develop deep technical understanding of the tax solution, including features and competitive positioning.
• Collaborate with the sales team to identify client needs and tailor presentations.
• Deliver product demonstrations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Design tailored solutions with prospects and own technical delivery of configured POCs and demos.
• Assist with RFP proposal development and responses for technical accuracy.
• Gather prospect feedback to inform product development and solution enhancements.
• Participate in webinars as a tax subject matter expert and record general videos.

What you'll need

• Experience in client-facing tax roles from pre-sales, industry/public accounting, or consulting.
• Ability to present to mixed teams from staff level accountants to VPs of Tax or Finance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to think quickly, respond to customer questions, and explain complex technical concepts.
• Proficiency in tax platforms and understanding of tax provision, transfer pricing, and BEPS reporting.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to client challenges.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Tax (computer science/technical background preferred).
