Overview
Senior Solutions Architect (AI & Platforms) at GitLab’s global Solutions Architecture Center of Excellence, acting as a trusted technical advisor and pre-sales partner for strategic accounts.
What you'll do
- Lead technical discovery, architecture design, demos, and end-to-end evaluations (POC/POV) for prospects and customers.
- Drive AI-focused solution strategy, including competitive positioning and business value justifications.
- Own technical strategy and influence Customer Success Plans for assigned accounts as a “technical CTO.”
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to shape account strategies.
- Provide advanced technical guidance during pre-sales, including tender/audit support, workshop design, and integration challenges.
- Translate customer feedback into product requirements, documentation improvements, and roadmap input for AI, security, and platform capabilities.
What you'll need
- Experience in technical pre-sales, software consulting, or similar roles connecting technology to business outcomes.
- Hands-on expertise with AI, including designing or implementing AI-powered solutions or advising on AI adoption.
- Practical background in modern software development/operations, including CI/CD and DevSecOps practices.
- Knowledge of cloud computing concepts and architectures for secure, scalable application delivery.
- Ability to design and explain technical architectures across multiple teams and software lifecycle phases.
- Skill in leading technical evaluations and workshops with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills as a trusted advisor across sales, product, and engineering.
Details
- Must be based in Singapore or Australia and have full-working rights in Singapore or Australia.
- Reports into the Senior Director and acts as the AI subject matter expert on a team of specialists.
