Senior Technical Program Manager

Overview

Senior Technical Project Manager who works with multiple business teams to define, streamline and analyze data to build business requirements, then works with Global Technology Services teams to articulate requirements, perform functional and technical data and system analysis, and drive engineering to implementation.

What you'll do

• Demonstrate strong functional and technical analytical and design capability to understand common and shared platforms, infrastructure and services with underlying data.
• Dive deep to come up with new service and infrastructure scenarios that help solve bigger systems problems by simplifying services and infrastructure and increasing productivity and efficiency across every system and service in the company.
• Apply a blend of technical, business and program management experience to enable seamless communication across teams, project execution and great customer reach.
• Own, manage and deliver multiple large-scale, complex programs across organizations, taking teams along to success.
• Create, evolve and communicate specifications for feature areas that enable cohesive, compatible, iterable scenarios spanning multiple feature teams and a durable multi-year vision.
• Come up with scenarios and business requirements by analyzing data and business needs.
• Identify, propose and implement ongoing data strategy and drive data quality improvements.
• Establish, enable and improve systems to manage product feedback from customers and resolve issues.
• Review and contribute to ecosystem design.

What you'll need

• At least 13 to 15 years of related work experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of project and change management, methodologies, techniques and processes (e.g., Project and Portfolio Management Methodology – PPM).
• Budget, cost and profitability management skills.
• Solid Data Center, Compute and Network Infrastructure and IT service delivery experience.
• Flexible, adaptable and resourceful when managing changing timelines and multiple deliverables.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and execute technology projects and system implementations effectively.
• Management skills with demonstrated experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Motivated to build relationships at executive levels with technology, solutions, customers and vendor groups.
• Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities in a matrixed environment.
• Proven problem-solving and negotiation skills in multi-party situations.
• Exceptional communication skills, executive presentation skills, relationship-building skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent cross-group collaboration and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
• Strong cultural change management experience.

Nice to have

• Experience in one or more of the following areas: data center or network infrastructure program/project management or related technical field.
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership.
• PMP or PgMP highly desired.
• Knowledge of resource management tools.
• Ability to influence without authority.

Details

• Location: Bengaluru.
• Hybrid work model: at least 3 days in the office per week, with flexibility to work from home 2 days a week, depending on role requirement. Some businesses may require more time in office.
