Senior Workday Financial Reporting Consultant - Workday Advisory Services

Overview

Senior Workday Financial Reporting Consultant (Workday Advisory Services) for micro-consulting engagements where you help customers translate complex financial requirements into Workday Financial Reporting solutions.

What you'll do

• Design, build, and troubleshoot complex Workday Financial reports including Composite, Matrix, and Advanced reports.
• Guide customers on ingesting and blending external operational data with core Workday financial data using Workday Prism Analytics.
• Advise on Workday Accounting Center configuration to transform external events into accounting journal entries and subledgers.
• Design and troubleshoot Prism data pipelines, datasets, and calculated fields for variance analysis and reporting dashboards.
• Advise on financial reporting best practices involving Chart of Accounts, custom organizations, and worktags.
• Deliver customer presentations and review customer tenants for adoption opportunities.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of IT implementation experience.
• 8+ years of experience with HR and/or Finance systems including Workday, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, and/or JD Edwards.
• 2+ years of software consulting experience.
• Experience gathering financial requirements and building complex financial reports for finance teams.
• Hands-on experience with data integration, data modeling, or building data pipelines (ETL) for financial analytics.
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written).

• Location: Pune, India.
• Up to 20% travel may be required.
• Flexible work approach: at least 50% of time each quarter in the office or in the field with customers, prospects, and partners.
