Shift Engineer

Overview

Shift Engineer responsible for safer facility operations through preventive, predictive, and risk-focused maintenance of electro-mechanical utility equipment.

What you'll do

• Plan and execute preparations for Total Preventive and predictive maintenance of electro-mechanical equipment.
• Set up and ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures for the critical environment at site.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and planned maintenance activities as per the schedule.
• Perform regular facility inspections for energy conservation, maintenance practices, utility management, and risk management.
• Recognize system shortcomings and respond to operational and emergency situations.
• Provide training to on-site teams and support service delivery teams on equipment maintenance.
• Coordinate with vendors for resolution of service issues and monitor adhoc jobs/minor project work.

What you'll need

• BE/B.Tech (Electrical/Mechanical/Electromechanical) with at least 3 years of experience, or a Diploma with at least 4 years in building facility management.
• Experience in building facility management preferably in IT and ITes industry.
• Ability to understand engineering design and operational aspects of utility systems and equipment.
• Mobile/capable of working anywhere for daily facility check-ins.
• Ability to communicate incidents and important operational issues to site staff and concern managers.
• Ability to maintain log books, PPM reports, checklists, and do MIS reporting (daily/weekly/monthly).
