SLED Systems Engineer

Overview

Pre-sales Systems Engineer owning the technical strategy for a portfolio of mid-complexity accounts in an assigned territory, partnering with Account Executives to drive technical validation and technical win-rate outcomes.

What you'll do

• Lead technical qualification for assigned accounts throughout the sales cycle.
• Independently design and architect solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Drive Proof of Concepts (POCs) and technical validation to advance deals.
• Partner with Account Executives to shape and influence deal strategy.
• Train and enable channel partners to build technical capability.
• Represent the company in customer presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
• Use Wi-Fi test and planning tools to support design and validation work.

What you'll need

• 3-6 years of experience in networking or pre-sales engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to independently design solutions for mid-complexity, multi-product environments.
• Track record of owning technical outcomes and influencing revenue within a territory.
• Strong knowledge across two or more areas such as NAC/RADIUS/802.1x/Active Directory/LDAP, security principles, cloud technologies, wireless/SDN/SaaS, IPv4/v6 routing, and Layer 2 switching.
• Excellent consultative, presentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.

Details

• Compensation includes an anticipated on-target earnings range of 180,000-205,000 USD.
• Eligible for commission on a 70/30 split.
