Software Development Engineer

Overview

Software Development Engineer role for Adobe’s Growth (Engagement) team, focused on building engagement features, experiences, and product integrations.

What you'll do

• Prototype, develop, and unit-test scalable features with high quality.
• Collaborate with teammates to decide on approaches for problem solving.
• Perform code reviews, provide feedback, and respond to reviewer input.
• Plan, develop, monitor, and evolve infrastructure with Ops partners.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
• Develop responsive, scalable user interfaces and integrate APIs.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of relevant industry experience in frontend engineering.
• Strong frontend engineering skills and comfort working across the stack.
• Proficiency in Web Components and React (hooks, context API, state management).
• Solid working knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Hands-on with MobX and lit (lit described as “good to have”).
• Experience with frontend tooling, build tools (Webpack, Vite), and testing tools/libraries (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright).
