Software Engineer

Overview

Software Engineer for Cisco’s GTM IT team, working on Salesforce engineering excellence and CRM-related delivery.

What you'll do

• Coordinate Salesforce release activities and end-to-end deployment planning with cross-functional teams.
• Drive change management and support release activities while adhering to the change management process.
• Own and optimize Copado CI/CD pipelines end-to-end, including static analysis, automated testing, and environment management.
• Implement deployment standards such as redundant pipelines, rollback strategies, and governance controls.
• Build AI-driven DevOps solutions for platform governance, including co-pilots and autonomous agents.
• Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory requirements across the Salesforce ecosystem.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of DevOps experience in Copado or similar CI/CD tools for pipeline configuration and release management.
• 5+ years administering and delivering Salesforce platform solutions, including Custom Objects, Workflow Rules, Custom Fields, Validation Rules, VisualForce, and Lightning.
• Familiarity with static code analysis tools such as SonarQube or PMD.
• Experience with Salesforce data tools: Data Loader, Workbench, and Demand Tools.
• Experience creating and delivering documentation, training, and communication for feature/process changes.
