Overview
Senior Software Engineer for the Monetization Data Systems team, designing and building a next-generation monetization data platform.
What you'll do
- Design, improve, and operate reliable, scalable backend services for monetization platform capabilities.
- Own architecture and implementation of critical monetization data workflows, data contracts, and integrations.
- Establish guarantees for correctness, availability, security, performance, reconciliation, and auditability.
- Build reusable platform capabilities and developer tools to help teams launch and iterate quickly.
- Partner with product, data, finance, accounting, and GTM to translate needs into robust solutions.
- Lead technical design and delivery of complex cross-functional projects using RFCs and clear tradeoffs.
- Improve observability and operational excellence via monitoring, incident response, and remediation.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to architecture/code reviews and documentation.
What you'll need
- Minimum 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production software.
- Deep experience in backend services or distributed systems at scale.
- Proficiency in at least one general-purpose language: Go, Java, Python, Rust, or C++.
- Strong fundamentals in API design, data modeling, storage systems, distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience designing systems with correctness, reliability, observability, security, privacy, or access-control requirements.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and drive progress from problem definition through delivery.
- Product-oriented mindset and clear communication with technical and non-technical partners.
